Trick or treat! Welcome to this spooktacular edition of the Hive!
We kicked off October with a little bit of magic, brewing up redesigns of the popular Potion patterns! Moonlight, Harvest, and Teatime are available now!
The rest of the potions will arrive next year, because proper magic takes a little time!
The spooks continued, however, with this month’s free pattern, the adorable Polterpup from Luigi’s Mansion. And if ghostly pets are your thing, there’s the Ghost Trick patterns too!
Though October is coming to an end, there’s one last trick to pull off—a premonition of what’s to come next month!
One of my earliest patterns was this pretty boring slab of text with leaves, that was making fun of the fact my fictional teenage crushes had warped my tastes beyond repair. It turns out I wasn’t the only one! For all us who suffered at the hands of a Mr. Darcy or Edward Cullen or [insert anime man here], I wanted to do the pattern justice—and make it gender-neutral! The brand-new version will be dropping mid-November!
