It’s cold, it’s snowing, and I don’t want to be outside—so it’s time to sew!
Unfortunately, the pattern I wanted to sew this month wasn’t possible. Though I finished a version of the ‘Fictional Characters Ruined My Standards’ redesign, I wasn’t entirely happy with it—not to mention the fact it consisted of around 5,600 stitches!
Instead of breaking my fingers speed-sewing, I scoured my archives and found the Pint-Size Period Manor! I had drafted it alongside the Miniature Medieval Castle and Weensy Witch Hut last year, but abandoned it due to market prep. Since I’d just posted about my copy of Pride and Prejudice, it was the perfect time to revisit it!

During that initial panic, however, I also designed Bunnies in Love. Though it was just a backup, I still fancied sewing and releasing it! It’s so cute!
But because of all my scrambling, I didn’t get to release a free videogame pattern this month. I tried, but my ideas didn’t work in the timeframe I had. Besides, I wanted to get to work on next month’s project as soon as possible!

December’s pattern is the Teddy Bear Picnic! Though the pattern is cute by itself, I’ve tried out a fun method for finishing that I can’t wait to reveal!
Patterns always make a great, easy gift in the holiday season—I love getting them myself! But if you get some spending money under the tree this year, after Christmas is when my Boxing Day sale will begin. All patterns will be 50% off on Etsy for the last weekend of the year!

Need to sew a little gift before the holidays arrive? Here’s a freebie to help you by! I created this Sunflower Charm last year for market, but never released it. With a few hours, a keychain, and some jump rings, you can make a neat little gift for a floral friend or family member!
Happy sewing!
